Huisartsen Sarphatipark is located in the heart of De Pijp, the neighbourhood just south of the centre of Amsterdam. The practice offers accessible and personal healthcare for all inhabitants in its vicinity.

The annual flu shot protects against the serious consequences of flu (influenza). People who are at extra risk of becoming seriously ill from the flu are eligible for the flu shot. These are people aged 60 and over and people of all ages with cardiovascular disease, lung disease, diabetes, kidney disease and people with a reduced immune system.

If you are eligible for the flu shot, you will receive an invitation by post in the first week of October. If you have not received an invitation and you believe that you are eligible for the flu shot, please contact the practice.

On Thuesday 22th and Thursday 24th of October between 4:00 PM and 6:30 PM we will hold our annual flu vaccination consultation hours:

• The injection is given in the upper arm. Please take this into account with your clothing.
• Please take the invitation with you when you come to get the flu shot.
• You do not need to make an appointment for this consultation hour.
• There are no costs to you for the flu shot.
• If you cannot come, please contact the assistant for another appointment.
